Berkas Lengkap, Dito Mahendra Segera Disidang Terkait Kasus Senpi Ilegal

SinPo.id -   The National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) has handed over Dito Mahendra's file as a suspect in the case of possession of illegal weapons (senpi) to the South Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari Jaksel).

Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, said that the South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office stated that Dito's file was complete or P21. 

"The case file that has been carried out by investigators is declared P21," said Djuhandhani to journalists at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Thursday, December 21 2023.

According to Djuhandhani, the evidence and the suspect will immediately be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office so that they can be tried in court as soon as possible. 

"Today, Thursday 21 December 2023, phase 2 will be carried out at the South Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office," he said. 

It is known that the case involving Dito began when the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) conducted a search of his house in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, in a suspected corruption case. However, during the search, KPK investigators found 15 firearms of various types.

The firearm was then handed over to the National Police for investigation. From the results of the interim investigation, 9 of the 15 firearms found did not have permits or were illegal.

"From the results of the investigation, nine weapons without documents were handed over to Bareskrim for legal action," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.

Based on these findings, Dito has now been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 1 Paragraph 1 of Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning illegal possession of firearms.
