Tangani Gagal Ginjal Akut, Presiden Jokowi Minta Pengobatan Pasien Penderita Digratiskan
SinPo.id - Presiden Joko Widodo menginstruksikan jajarannya untuk menyiapkan pelayanan kesehatan termasuk pengadaan obat-obatan yang dapat mengatasi dan menangani masalah gagal ginjal di tanah air. Pernyataan itu disampaikan setelah menggelar rapat internal terkait perkembangan kasus obat penyebab gagal ginjal dengan sejumlah menteri Kabinet Indonesia Maju, di Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Jawa Barat, pada Senin 24 Oktober 2022.
“Saya minta diberikan pengobatan gratis kepada pasien-pasien yang dirawat. Saya kira ini penting sekali,” kata dia, seperti dilansir laman Setkab.go.id pada Senin 24 Oktober 2022.
Dalam rapat itu, Kepala Negara memberikan sejumlah arahan kepada jajarannya, salah satunya untuk mengutamakan keselamatan masyarakat. Menurut Presiden, ia sudah memberikan instruksi kepada Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes( Budi Gunadi Sadikin untuk menghentikan sementara peredaran obat yang diduga menjadi penyebab kasus gagal ginjal. Kebijakan tersebut diambil pemerintah sambil menunggu hasil investigasi yang dilakukan Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM)
“Jangan menganggap ini masalah kecil. Ini adalah masalah besar. Lakukan ini secara terbuka, transparan, tapi juga hati-hati dan objektif,” ucap Presiden.
Selain itu, Presiden juga meminta BPOM untuk menarik dan menghentikan peredaran obat sirup yang secara eviden terbukti mengandung bahan obat penyebab gangguan ginjal. Arahan lainnya, Presiden meminta Kementerian Kesehatan untuk melakukan eksplorasi terhadap seluruh faktor risiko penyebab kasus gagal ginjal, baik dari sumber obat-obatan maupun potensi penyebab lainnya.
“Saya kira akan lebih bagus lagi kalau diumumkan, diinformasikan secara luas mengenai nama produknya. Ini harus kita pastikan betul. Uji klinis harus dilakukan. Laboratorium seluler pada organ ginjal yang terdampak juga betul-betul dilihat betul sehingga kita bisa memastikan apa yang menjadi penyebab dari gagal ginjal terutama pada anak,” ujarnya.
